Sell, promote and represent WJZT/ Smooth Jazz 97.9 with current and prospective clients; including all aspects of the sales process: cold-calling, account maintenance, customer service, idea generation, scheduling and collections. Set and achieve personal sales volume goals, to complement and work toward sales department and station goals; directing those activities within the company mission statement, company strategy, company guidelines and supervisor’s directions. Work hours are primarily during the business day, but weekend and/or evening client, networking and station events will be required. In-person, phone and written communication skills, business knowledge and a desire for continuous improvement are important determinations for success in this position.
